Sharon L. Sather, 72, of Milton, WI died Monday, April 11, 2016 at St. Mary’s Janesville Hospital following a brief illness. Sharon was born on December 21, 1943 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada the daughter of Oscar and Elsie (Deitrich) Baillargeron. She married Elwyn L. “Pete” Sather on June 8, 1963 in New Port, RI. A Janesville area resident for the past 51 years, Sharon was employed by M & I Bank (BMO/ Harris) for over 30 years. She was a member of St. Matthew’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, its Afternoon Guild and served as a greeter at the church. She was a member of the Red Hat Ladies.
Sharon Sather is survived by her husband, Elwyn “Pete” Sather, three sons, Lawrence (Janet) Sather of Harriman, TN, Jeffrey Sather of Milwaukee, WI, Steven Sather of Cottage Grove, her grandson, Ty Sather, her mother, Elsie Baillargeron, four brothers, James (Connie) Baillargeron and John Baillargeron all of the New Port, RI area, Jack (Lauren) Baillargeron of North Carolina and Fred Baillargeron of Middleton, RI. She was preceded in death by her father, Oscar Baillargeron, one brother, Cary Baillargeron and one daughter-in-law, Annette Sather.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 16, 2016 at St. Matthew’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 709 Milton Avenue, Janesville. Rev. James Janke will officiate. Burial will be in Milton Lawns Memorial Park. Visitation will be Friday, April 15th from 4 to 7 p.m. at Henke-Clarson Funeral Home, 1010 N. Wright rd., Janesville and at the Church on Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Memorials may be made to St. Matthew’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lakeside Lutheran High School or WELS Builders for Christ.
